Bukkene Bruse is a Norwegian musical group, formed in 1998 and focusing on a varied repertoire of exciting slices of Norwegian folk music, including traditional and folk-style Norwegian songs, but also comprising many new compositions based on various Norwegian musical traditions. Members of the group include Annbjørg Lien, a prominent Hardanger fiddle and nyckelharpa (keyed fiddle) player; Arve Moen Bergset, fiddle player and vocalist; flutist Steinar Ofsdal; and pipe organist Bjørn Ole Rasch. The name of the group is taken from the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff (lang-no|De tre bukkene Bruse). The group has performed along the length and breadth of Scandinavia and the onto the rest of the world. Rock, Country Rock, Indie, Alternative, Blues   The 2010 Grammy® nominations were announced and the True Blood Original soundtrack snagged a nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media. Elektra Records and HBO have joined forces to put together a riveting collection of songs that connect True Blood fans with the hit HBO series. The True Blood soundtrack includes the show theme song ‘Bad Things’ by Jace Everett and features artists such as C.C Adcock, Lucinda Williams, Ryan Adams, Allen Toussaint, The Legendary Shack Shakers, The Watson Twins and more. The songs featured on the soundtrack were included in Season 1 of the series. Gary Calamar, who supervises the series’ music, said that his goal for the show’s soundtrack is to create something “swampy, bluesy and spooky” and to feature local Louisiana musicians....
