L: From the news section on your website, I have read that Sebas leaves Heidevolk in September, and his place will be taken by your friend Kevin. Does he intend to join the group permanently? M: Kevin is a great person, he will accompany us for the live tour, and will remain a welcome guest of Heidevolk. On July 2011 Ancient Bards played at Fosh Fest in Bagnatica. Here you are the interview conducted by Lorenzone from musica-draconia.net Lorenzone: How did you start this project? Ancient Bards: We started with this lineup in 2007. The idea was already concrete: We wanted to make original pieces in a symphonic/power metal genre. We chose the name Ancient Bards almost by chance, wanting to communicate the ultimate meaning of our music, we tell ourselves stories, fantasy stories, and for this reason we have decided to refer to the concept of the bards.
